Troop Transportation

Troop Transportation

Transportation to and from troop functions is the shared responsibility of all parents. You are welcome to drive up and stay with the troop on the campout or to drive up and return and let someone else come up to provide transportation back. A major portion of the "go - no go" decision for each campout is based on the availability of transportation. It is imperative that each Scout's family understands that they must support the transportation requirements of the troop. It is also important to understand that as a parent, you are welcome to participate in the activities, but your son will sleep and eat with his patrol and will take direction from the troop leadership.

WHAT YOU MUST DO

1. Volunteer to drive to various troop outings by calling the Transportation Chairman. Each Scout should provide transportation at least twice during the year.
2. Be prepared to drive when the Transportation Chairman calls on you.
